Matthew William Lund was born in Sacramento California on April 18, 1962. His parents are Eileen Lund and Ralph A. Lund an Award winning Chef. Matthew grew up in Tiburon California while his father was earning his fame at A. Sabella’s on Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco where he would win the World Cooking Olympics. At 8 years old Matthew went to work with his father on the weekends and became Chef by age 18. Matthew graduated Tumwater High School, in Tumwater, Washington in 1980. Matthew Joined the US Navy as a Chef in 1984 and was Honourably discharged in 1993 and went back to working as an Executive Chef and General Manager in California, Washington and Idaho. Matthew moved to Rome, Italy to study the language and culture and worked as a Chef. Matthew again served his country as a civilian contractor in 2003 in Kuwait. Matthew attended Leeds Metropolitan University (Northern Film School) in 2005. Matthew’s first film was “The Tutor”” a 15 minute short he wrote produced and directed while living in Leeds, UK, he moved back to USA in 2006 and has been working both sides of the camera since, completing music videos, industrials and documentary films as well as a few roles in front of the camera. In 2013 Matthew began taking his acting career more seriously. Matthew works with ADR Agency (Ryan Brown), in Honolulu Hi and is cast in Season 5 of Hawaii Five-O.”
