Went to Columbia High School, in Maplewood, New Jersey where he founded the Hall of Fame, which he and his sister Elisabeth Shue became members of in 1994. Zach Braff also attended Columbia High School, but at a later time. As a matter of fact, Zach lived around the corner from the Shues.

Younger brother of Elisabeth Shue, with whom he appeared in 1984's The Karate Kid. Andrew portrayed a Cobra Kai student who was pitted against - and lost to - Daryl Vidal of the Locust Valley Karate Club.
