Don Abernathy

Don Abernathy has studied a variety of film production disciplines from Theatre, Grip, Set Lighting, Cinematography, Screenwriting, Film History, Directing, Producing and Production Sound from an eclectic group of community colleges and universities including Loyola Marymount University, El Camino College, Los Angeles Valley College, Los Angeles City College, and West Los Angeles College in addition to dozens of special seminars and lectures. Don Abernathy applied his skills by working in many feature films and media related production projects from micro budget student short films to James Cameron’s Avatar, the largest grossing film in history, all in the spirit of learning and growing; becoming a true Integrated Independent Filmmaker. Don Abernathy is now launching a series of films and online web series under his New Quest Films banner.
