He has come out in both Jack Reacher movies wearing the same hat. In the first movie, he helps Jack hide by lending him his baseball cap while waiting for a bus. While on the bus, Jack returns it to him. In the second sequel, Jack and his female friend get an a taxi cab to escape. He's the cab driver that gives her the cap. They have a brief discussion about baseball.
