G.P. Sippy was born on September 14, 1914 in Hyderabad, Sind, British India as Gopaldas Parmanand Sipahimalani. He was a producer and actor, known for Sholay (1975), Brahmachari (1968) and Marine Drive (1955). He died on December 25, 2007 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
