Born on 12 May 1993 of Spanish and British descent. Gemita grew up as a professional athlete, in show jumping and synchronized swimming. She also enjoyed sports such as rock climbing, surfing, martial arts, archery, and free diving. Her varied sporting background gave her a solid foundation to start her career in stunts, aged 17. Gemita has since stunt doubled the Bond girl in 007’s Spectre and has worked on many other films and TV series such as Fast and Furious 6, Kingsman and Game of Thrones. At 20 years old, Gemita started producing documentaries, specifically within environmental, animal and human rights. Her experience working directly with displaced communities shifted her focus again from media to creative solutions on the ground within education, global health, water access, food security, housing and more. Gemita has since founded two NGO’s- a humanitarian organisation focusing on self sufficient and sustainable solutions for homelessness and refugees and an animal rescue shelter in Uganda.
