Marla declared she was going to be an Actor to her Mum at age 4 and has been doing it ever since, excelling at both ends of the spectrum with lots of stops in-between, from sketch comedy, to gritty drama.She trained with the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and Screenwise in Sydney and the AMAW Masterclass in London, as well as over two decades in local theatre in her hometown of Perth. Marla also studied film and television production in Australia at Edith Cowan University, The Film & Television Institute and Metro Screen, for the times when she jumps to “the other side of the camera”” as Director / Producer / Editor / Writer.”
