Naeem was born and raised in Burbank, where he lived with his parents, older sister and nanny. His parents are from British Guyana, and moved to California in the 1980s. Naeem grew up as an athlete playing basketball at different competitive levels, including being recruited to play professionally overseas after high school. He worked corporate in the Entertainment Industry for many years before deciding to follow his passion and get in front of the camera. A self-proclaimed cinefile, his love of film and acting shows in his work. He also speaks Spanish and Arabic, and resides in Pasadena with his beautiful wife and son.
