Steve was born in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. When he was 5 his family moved to Florida and then moved back to Ontario when Steve was 14. After high school he moved to Vancouver and began studying theatre with Angela Konrad (Jessie Award winner) and Ron Reed. After performing in stage productions of The Miracle Worker, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Brilliant Traces, Steve began to train with Andrew McIlroy, one of Vancouver’s most highly respected film & TV acting instructors and was signed by Kirk Talent.He moved away from Vancouver for some time and lived in Philadelphia, PA where he played Theodore Weld in the Oscar nominated PBS series The Abolitionists. He was cast in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit and played the lead detective in an independent thriller, The Descending. He trained at the renowned repertory theatre and school, Playhouse West – Philadelphia, and studied Meisner with master instructors Tony Savant and Wendy Ward.He has appeared in dozens of national and international commercial campaigns. He is also a songwriter and has been a semi-finalist in both the International Songwriting and Unsigned Only Music competitions. He lives on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada.
