Born to English father and Italian mother, he was mainly raised in Italy. He studied at Bologna University majoring in Cinema, Arts and Drama. Whilst at University he had access to thousand of films, including silent films such of those of Lumiere, Epstein, Keaton and many more. After landing lead roles in films made for Italian television, being bilingual (English and Italian) we wanted to also acquire an American accent. He flew over to LA, to spend a couple of months studying with the late, and legendary, Robert Easton. Some of Easton’s students include Leonardo Di Caprio, Robert Duvall, Lawrence Olivier and Forest Whittaker to name a few. So effective were Easton’s methods, that Thomas only needed a few session to be able to confidently speak with an American accent.Thomas now lives in London.

While at University, he won a screen-writing scholarship that took place in Greece. One of the courses were held by his professor, film director Giovanni Robbiano. It was there Thomas met director Lorenzo Vignolo, who consequently cast Thomas in a music video.
Met his good friend Stefano Fregni while filming L'uomo dell'argine. The film was the first feature for both of them. Since then they also worked together on Suor Jo, Imagined and the doomed shortfilm Be.Fore.
His favourite actor is Tom Cruise.
Producer Carlo Dusi suggested Thomas to director Karen Hope for her short film Buongiorno Sayonara. The film went on to win multiple awards and earned Thomas a Best Actor Nomination.
He injured his left ankle while filming Road to F.A. Cup. As the whole series was mainly filmed with the actors improvising, when Thomas was lying on the ground holding his ankle in pain, the crew genuinely thought he was improvising and kept on filming. Thomas, despite his injury, remained in character. It was only when "cut"" was called that the crew realized Thomas was actually hurt.
One of his greatest inspirations is the speech that Kevin Costner did while interviewed by Michael Parkinson. Costner spoke about being true to yourself
