Vijay Kumar

Vijay Kumar was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He got a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from GCE, Salem.A software engineer by profession, he quit his job to pursue his passion in cinema. He completed writing the screenplay for Uriyadi, after which he started a production house called Souvenir Productions to make the movie. He conducted acting workshops for debutantes for three months and then hired them. The movie released on May 27, 2016 to high critical acclaim and came to be featured in many Top 10 South Indian movies lists compiled by noteworthy publications.
