Vinod Mehra was born on February 13, 1945 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He is known for his work on Crime and Punishment (1974), Gurudev (1993) and Parde Ke Peechey (1971). He was married to Kiran, Meena Broca, Bindiya Goswami and Neeta Mehta. He died on October 30, 1990 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.
